Updating Part of the Continuum[1], hoping to make it feel more alive by seeing other players (if any) and showing how long ago someone played.

Playing through "Return of the Obra Dinn"[2] with June, getting into puzzle games is fun, it's fun to play with a friend. Only now realizing I rather enjoy puzzle games after playing so many.

Programming

I am starting to suspect that my banning of IP addresses is not particularly useful warding off unwanted traffic. The bans help to prevent one nmap or nikto scan from going hog wild. Not that my server is insecure, no no. Converting the bans to a long timeout should keep out bad scanners while avoiding permanently barring honest folks with the same IPs.

My little RSS reader/notifier has been broken for a while, the libnotify library doesn't appear to work with zig 0.16, I'd like the drop the dependency anyways so I am digging through dbus specs. I am enjoying finding and learning protocols instead of libraries, more local servers than mega programs please!
